1.What Is Ultra-Small Pellet Tofu Cat Litter? Raw Materials and Production Process 

The core raw materials of tofu cat litter are primarily food-grade soybean residue and corn starch. For our ultra-small pellet tofu cat litter, we have specially optimized the raw material formulation and extrusion pelletizing process to create a finer pellet structure.

We use non-GMO, food-grade soybean residue combined with natural corn starch. No industrial adhesives, harmful fragrances, or fluorescent agents are added.

The raw materials undergo multiple production processes, including raw material screening, high-temperature drying, extrusion molding, low-temperature drying, and dust removal and sieving. Through these carefully controlled processes, the final product is formed into finer, short cylindrical pellets, offering a more delicate pellet size and a comfortable experience for cats.

Conventional tofu cat litter typically has a pellet diameter of around 1.5–3.0 mm and a length of approximately 5–15 mm. Our ultra-small pellet tofu cat litter features a diameter of approximately 1.5 mm and a shorter length of 3–6 mm, resulting in finer and more uniform pellets.

During production, we have added multi-stage dust removal equipment to the manufacturing line. The finished litter undergoes multiple rounds of air separation and screening to remove broken particles and fine powder, helping to minimize dust as much as possible.

Unlike some low-priced fine-pellet cat litters on the market that are simply made by crushing larger pellets into smaller pieces, which can produce excessive fragments and tend to break down easily when exposed to water, our product is directly formed through an extrusion pelletizing process rather than made from crushed material.

The pellets have a dense structure, high integrity, and good structural strength, so they do not easily crumble into large amounts of powder with light handling. This allows us to achieve a balanced combination of a softer, more comfortable paw feel and excellent pellet strength.

One of the most important performance characteristics of tofu cat litter is its absorption and clumping ability. The ultra-small pellets have a larger overall contact surface area, allowing them to absorb urine more quickly upon contact and rapidly form firm, compact, and complete clumps.

The strong clumping performance helps prevent the clumps from breaking apart during scooping while reducing the likelihood of wet litter sticking to the bottom of the litter box.

After coming into contact with urine, the pellets bind together to form firm, compact clumps that are less likely to break apart. When scooping and sifting the litter with a scoop, the clumps remain intact with minimal crumbling or residue, helping to reduce litter left behind at the bottom of the litter box.As long as the litter is maintained at the recommended depth, this can significantly reduce the problem of wet litter sticking to the bottom of the litter box.
